- Reformed Liberal - I voted for John Anderson in 1980 and for Bill Clinton in 1992. Boy, what an idiot I was! I retired after 24 years as a U.S. Navy Enlisted Sailor. Duty stations included nuclear and conventionally powered submarines, an Aegis guided missile cruiser ... and a tour that consisted of six months in Bush (the Senior's) White House and two and a half years of Bill Clinton's! I've been all over the world and I've seen a whole lot of "stuff". Still just a humble hillybilly!

It's a very good read indeed. I think the press gives a very negative picture of how the Iraqi people feel about the war, and about how the US troops on the ground feel. Those are the two demographics they SHOULD be asking most, seeing how they're there and all.
