Here's a great article from accross the pond on Europe's position with reference to the Kyoto agreement. Seems some of them are coming around to the American point of view ...
Perhaps now Europe will come clean about climate change
The article points out the fact that 12 of the original 15 signatories to the Kyoto agreement are so far away from the limits they set for themselves for green house gas emissions that they are almost certain to miss the 2012 goals.
It also argues that some of the underlying science behind the Kyoto agreement is suspect.
We'll see what comes of this one!
