Folks, I haven't been writing much lately because I've been basking in the positive outlook of Louisiana after the solidly-won election of Bobby Jindal as our next governor! Now ... hardworking Louisianans will finally be rid of an incompetent Governor in exchange for someone that I believe will prove himself as one of the top Governors in the United States - Bobby Jindal.
So it's been great news for us here in the Lagniappe State but today ... even more good news...
Racist Eddie Jordan has FINALLY resigned from his post as the District Attorney of New Orleans!
Folks - this should have happened back in March 2005 when a federal jury ruled that Eddie Jordan discriminated against 43 whites when he fired them all at once when he took office and replaced them with blacks.
Let's see here - discrimination, coupled with abuse of power aimed at one particular racial group (Whites) ... yep ... I think I'm on safe ground calling Eddie Jordan a RACIST. The only difference between Eddie Jordan and David Duke are their skin colors and the color of the skin of their racial victims.
Like I said - Eddie Jordan SHOULD HAVE resigned the moment he was proved a racist by a federal court. But he didn't.
Eddie Jordan SHOULD HAVE THEN been forced out of office - but there was no cry from anyone in New Orleans city government to do that. I don't recall "Mr. Chocolate City" ... Mayor Ray Nagin calling for Jordan's resignation.
Jesse Jackson didn't call for his resignation. Neither did Al Sharpton. I guess they were busy that week or something?
So instead of resigning - Jordan has remained in office. Under Jordan's "leadership" - New Orleans recaptured it status as the "Murder Capital of the United States". Under his "leadership" - New Orleans justice has become the laughing stock of the entire country. Eddie Jordan's leadership has been an impotent tale of sorrow and absence without leave.
And if that wasn't enough - he was also caught harboring a fugitive. Eddie says he didn't know who the guy was. Oh really? You're the DA and you don't know who is and who isn't a fugitive? You've got problems dude.
And unfortunately - Eddie Jordan's problems were also OUR problems.
BUT NO MORE!!
Goodbye Racist Eddie ... peace to your ashes.
Things in Louisiana are looking up alright!
